Delhi - Kolkatta - Guwahati - Manas Reserve - Kaziranga - Guwahati - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at the airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 ; Delhi/Kolkatta
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kolkata, on arrival check in at the hotel. In the afternoon city sightseeing tour Visit, including Victorial Memorial - Built of white marble and surrounded by lush gardens, the Victoria Memorial is probably the most beautiful monumental legacy of British India. It was built by Lord Curzon in the early 20th century in memory of the late Queen of England. Also visit Indian Museum, Eden Gardens, Kali Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Kolkata / Guwahati / Manas National Park (200 km)
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati drive to Manas National park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. Overnight at resort.
Day 04 - Manas National park
Morning and evening jeep/elephent safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at resort.
Manas National Park situated on the foothills of the Asam Himalayas and a part of it continues across the border into Bhutan. Covering an area of 391 sq km, the Manas National Park was declared a sanctuary on 1st of October, 1928 and was designated a World Heritage site in December 1985. The animal population of Manas is very excitingly diverse. Some of the more fierce or potentially aggressive creatures it shelters within it's region are Tigers, Elephants, Rhinos, Wild Buffaloes, Leopards, Clouded Leopards and the rare Black Panthers.
The park is also a haven for 22 highly endangered species of Hispid Hare and the Pygmy Hog. Some of the other animals sighted while exploring the park are Gaurs, Swamp Deer, Capped Langurs, Golden Langurs, Assamese Macaques, Slow Loris, Hoolock Gibbons, Smooth Indian Otters, Sloth Bears, Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Sambar and Chital.
Day 05 - Manas National Park
Morning and evening jeep/elephent safari to the national park for wildlife viewing and you can have a boat safari to the sanctuary. Overnight at resort.
Day 06 - Manas / Kaziranga National park (437 km)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, on arrival transfer to the wildlife resort. Overnight at resort.
Kaziranga National Park Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, Kaziranga National Park covers an area of approximately 430-sq-kms with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass making it the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.
Beside ofcourse the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions include a large population of Indian Elephants, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc.
Day 07 - Kaziranga National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep/elephant safari to the national park for wildlife viewing like harbor swamp deer, Elephant, buffalo and the largest concentration of Indian Rhino. Overnight at the wildlife resort.
Day 08 - Kaziranga National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep/elephant safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at the wildlife resort.
Day 09 - Kaziranga National Park / Guwahati (239 km) / Delhi
Morning drive to Guwahati, on arrival transfer to the airport time to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for own activity. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Delhi
Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi.
Old Delhi - the 350-year-old walled city was built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital. Opposite the fort are the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Raj Ghat is worth a visit where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
New Delhi - the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. An interesting drive in the one passing through the impressive Rajpath from the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate towards the Presidential Palace. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in 1565 AD, Safdarjung's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, 72 meters high and the most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Departure
Day free for own activity. Late in the afternoon transfer to the international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
