National Parks in Andman Nicobar
Andaman & Nicobar being the hotspot of biological diversity. The total land area of all these islands is only about 8249 sq. km of which about 86 % is covered with lush green rain forests. These islands are the vast repository of plants. Around 52 species are being used by the sub aboriginal groups. Wandur National Park
Wandur National Park comprises of about 12 islands and is located about 30 km southwest of Port Blair. the capital city of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and are also the home to Indias best marine parks. Most of the islands in the park are densely forested; the open spaces are covered with scrub and creepers.
